FMS, The Stick and coaching

Been on a diet of no training for a while, to much work and not enough time to get time to train myself. It’s boring not to be able to train but really developing for me as a coach/instructor. Teaching Krav Maga and Kettlebells is getting more and more inspiring as the days goes by. Not being able to go all out myself I have been focusing on understanding the movement patterns in all the stuff I do.
To me the two feed of each other, both in in inspiration, energy, mentality and functionality. The movement patterns in a lot of the moves is basically the same or very similar.
FMS… is the missing link in most peoples training, the more I screen people I understand the importance of correct movement. I’m pretty new at FMS and have been screening some people of different physical levels, the FMS speaks for it self… no discrimination, no excuses, just results that give a indication on how a person moves. Awesome!
Have to share this video with Gray Cook where he explains it all…
As far as my own training lately, it has been restricted by a broken toe and has consisted of some swings here and there, cleans, military presses. I have also focused a lot on FMS corrective moves, soft tissue work with The Stick (a toothbrush for muscles).
Feels good to relax with the training and… bullshit… I miss my snatches!!!
