Krav Maga
I have been training Krav Maga since 1994, in 1996 I went through the first Civilian Instructor Course that International Krav Maga Federation (now Krav Maga Global) held outside Israel. Immediately after the CIC i started teaching civilians self defense. In 1998 I started Krav Maga Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden
In 2002 I started working with Krav Maga full time and have been travelling the world since then, teaching/educting instructors and operators/practitioners from (among others) the following groups.
• Civilians
• Military
• Police
• VIP/dignitary protection
• Air Marshalls
• Anti terror units
• Special units
Since 2002 I have been a member of the KMG GIT (Krav Maga Global – Global Instructor Team) and is within KMG the highest level level non Israeli with the level of Expert 4. This Makes me the the instructor/practitioner with the highest level within KMG outside Israel.
Kettlebells
in 2006 I went throug and passed the RKC Certification course in Denmark under Pavel Tsatsouline, Steve Cotter, Steve Maxwell, Kenneth Jay och Tommy Eli. This makes me one of the first certified RKCs in Sweden under Pavel Tsatsouline (Russian Kettlebell Challenge).
Since my certification I have recertified twice in RKC certification cources and at the same time functioned as assistant instructor at the same courses (Denmark 2007 and hungary 2008).
In 2010 I was appointed RKC Team Leader which.
I train with my kettlebells more or less every day and I am completely convinced in the effect it makes on my health, strength, conditioning and overall work capacity. My results speak for them selves.
Functional Movement Systems
In 2009 I certified as a FMS-Screener and in 2010 I took it a step further and got certified as a CK-FMS.
You can follow me on my trips over the world and through my personal journey of Krav Maga, Kettlebells, MMA, FMS and Z-health on my blog www.tommyblom.com.

Tenacity
Main Entry: te·na·cious
Pronunciation: t?-’n?-sh?s
Function: adjective
Etymology: [From Latin tenax, tenac-, holding fast, from ten?re, to hold; see ten- in Indo-European roots.]
Date: 1607
Synonyms: strong1 a: not easily pulled apart : cohesive <a tenacious metal> b: tending to adhere or cling especially to another substance <tenacious burs> 2 a: persistent in maintaining, adhering to, or seeking something valued or desired <a tenacious advocate of civil rights> <tenacious negotiators> b: retentive <a tenacious memory>
The reason for choosing the name Tenacity is that it’s very closely related to Krav Maga where we teach the students to never ever quit or give up, in kettllebell training the mentality is the same, even if its hard and tough at the moment I have to persist in reaching the number of reps, I have to really grind the press out without hesitation. To get out there and do the training even if it feels beter to stay in the couch. Both Krav Maga and the kettlebells is Hardstyle.
